As you already know, the 16th Annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam is fast approaching.
From June 05 to 07, Tallahassee, Florida will play host to the 16th Annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam. The Southern Fried Poetry Slam is the Final Four of competitive poetry and has grown to be the second largest poetry convention in the nation attracting over 200 poets and over 40 teams from all over the nation. For the past ten years, Black on Black Rhyme and BackTalk! Poetry Troupe, have been one of Tallahassee’s most consistent progressive cultural entities, hosting some of the most dynamic and highly anticipated poetry and spoken word events.
The growth, longevity and grand success of this movement would have been impossible without a commitment to cultural arts, by people like yourself, and the tremendous support of Tallahassee, and its surrounding communities at large.
